About the shoot
After the death of Khomeini in March of 2026, I decided to capture the eruption of emotion in Finchley, North London. The streets were alive with music, celebration and hope. I spent around 4 hours walking the streets and capturing what felt like a momentous occasion, not just in Persian history, but in the history of the Middle East.
